We are moving through a Scorpio Full Moon which will inspire us to move forward with confidence, but not without some soul searching. The exact time of this astrological event in Australia is Thursday 11th May 7.40 a.m. AEST.
It is a great time to manifest what we want to come in to our lives with this energy.
In this newsletter I wanted to touch on the importance in taking time out.
No matter how busy we are, we need time for self-reflection. Here’s how to do it:
Every day regardless of what you’re doing: Stop and breathe, look around you and your environment. Be present. Just doing this everyday makes a difference to help you to relax mentally and refocus.
If you are a beginner to Oracle Cards start with a one card reading – here is how step by step:
- Sit comfortably and take a deep breathe in and exhale. Repeat this a couple of times.
- Hold your Gold Lotus deck to your heart and ask a question or think of a situation you are in then bring your attention to your heart area.
- Spread your cards out and pick one. Look at the card first and using your intuition you will get a feeling about the card.
- Now read the meaning in the book. By gazing at the card and thinking about the image first, you are learning to use your intuition…a very important skill that will serve you well.
Why does any of this matter?
Because the act of self-reflection and examination are the only ways to enrich your personal talents and abilities, so as to evolve into the kind of person you aspire to be.
Your practice might simply begin with questions that help you gain clarity, such as:
“Where in my home and family life am I needing attention?
What actions do I take that would help me reach my goals?”
