During this art and culture retreat
We will be visiting galleries and art supply shops in both Singapore and Vietnam, enjoying a street food and cooking tour, participating in art and lantern making workshops, and sightseeing. Additionally, you’ll have time to unwind, get a massage, and relax during this exciting getaway. You can choose how much or little you do.

Meet Your Hosts
Michelle Mann
Michelle Mann is a mixed media artist and illustrator whose vibrant, joyful, and whimsical work is inspired by nature, spirituality, and a colorful imagination. She created the Gold Lotus Oracle deck, a set of cards and an accompanying book used for guidance and self-growth. Michelle’s work, including the Gold Lotus Painting series, has won COVR industry awards and is held by collectors both nationally and internationally. She has been exhibiting since 2016 in galleries in South East Queensland, Melbourne, and Sydney. Michelle is based in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, where she creates in her home studio in Woombye.
Mandy Jones
Mandy Jones is a mixed media artist and creative explorer from the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. For Mandy, creating art is an intuitive experience. The layering of color in the form of paper, paint, and pen, and the making of marks and texture upon surfaces, brings happiness and healing to her soul. Her inspiration comes from a passion for color and pattern, the beauty of nature, and her love of global travel. Mandy’s artwork aims to evoke a sense of beauty, joy, and happiness. She believes that creativity in the form of art and craft is essential to her wellbeing. Currently, Mandy is exploring paper collage, a medium that brings her endless inspiration, creative flow, and nourishment for her soul.

Itinerary Overview:
Singapore (February 22-25)
Day 1: Arrive and settle in, dinner at a local restaurant, and explore Bugis night markets.
Day 2: Visit Singapore Art Museum, Gardens by the Bay, STPI Creative Workshop, Zion Food Centre, and more.
Day 3: Discover Art and Science Museum, Merlion Park, China Town, and Little India, ending with a Night Lights Bus Tour.
Day 4: Last-minute shopping and sightseeing, fly to Hanoi.
Hanoi (February 25 - March 2)
Day 5: Explore Hanoi Old Quarter, The Note Cafe, Bat Trang Pottery Village.
Day 6: Choose between Sapa, Halong Bay, or Ninh Binh Province.
Day 7: Vietnamese cooking class, Dong Xuan Market, Tanuki Art Shop.
Day 8: Visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum, Temple of Literature.
Day 9: Last-minute sightseeing, fly to Da Nang.
Hoi An (March 2-8)
Day 10: Tour Hoi An Ancient Town, afternoon art class.
Day 11: Guided tour of Marble Mountain and My Son Sanctuary.
Day 12: Full-day art classes.
Day 13: Day trip to Hue and the Perfume River or beach day.
Day 14: Full-day art class.
Day 15: Morning free time, afternoon art class, farewell dinner.
Day 16: Fly back to Singapore, explore Changi Airport, return to Australia.
Optional Extra Days in Da Nang (March 9-14):
Day 17-20: Stay in 5-star beachfront accommodation, enjoy swimming, markets, cafes, massages, and cocktails.
Day 21: Fly back to Singapore, then to Australia.
